I have a 99 GSX. So far I have:
-Injen Intake
-Hahn big 16g
-Hahn o2 and 3" downpipe
-3" Thermal exhaust
-Greddy big intercooler
-Greddy upper intercooler piping
-Greddy type S BOV
-Walboro 255hp fuel pump

I plan on running my car at NOPI next weekend, and am shooting for low 13's. Last time at the track, I had a bad o2, couldnt get over 10psi because of fuel cut(did that have anything to do with the bad o2?), and hit a 14 flat@10psi on the 16g. Stuff kep going wrong. please tell me what I need to do to get the car to run right. Thanks.

Well now that your pushing alot more air you need.....alot more fuel :thumb:

Get some 660's and a S-AFC and you will be set.

But for now I would run around 15psi on the stock injectors. Once you get the Injectors you should be able to run 20-22 psi.

Do you know why I was getting fuel cut at 10psi? Will I be able to run 15psi with stock injectors and no AFC?

just curious.. you do have a real boost gauge right??? Looked thru your mods it's not listed.

you need some bigger injectors and an safc .. I have some 650s for sale ;) .

You were seeing too much airflow so it was cutting fuel ... only bigger injectors will fix that.

I would get the injectors and an safc. Get it tuned by somebody that knows what they are doing. I see no problem with you seeing high 12's low 13's with the rest of your mods and 21psi on race gas.

I was thinking the same thing, i can't see anyone fuel cutting at a true 10psi. I would start by making sure your boost controller is working cause with you running a 14 flat i highly doubt that you truely fuel cut especially at only 10psi. Your boost controller may not work properly and it still opens at 10psi.

I was using a Joe P boost controller, and have a Greddy boost guage. As far as fuel cut goes, the engine makes a really loud noise, almost like something blew up inside, and the car shakes hard as shit. Yes it feels like my car hits a wall. I recall the guy I bought it from mentioning something about messing with cubes in the MAS. Would that have anything to do with it? BTW, I meant to say that I have a 255lph fuel pump, but it is not installed yet. Will that thing drop right in without any mods? Thanks for helping a new girl out guys.:)

put in the pump and go drive it. Get on the gas hard. Let us know what it does. If the MAS was messed with and the honeycombs were removed ( which is stupid to do on a 2g mas ) then you could be running very lean ... and fuel cutting.

you may need a new fuel pressure regulator because the 255 may be too much. Some people have problems some don't... as far as install it should drop right in depending on who you baught it from. I know that extremepsi and a few other venders are selling the fuel pumps with install kit, but i'm not sure if you need the install kit or if the stock stuff works... I am about to buy a 190lph, so I have never done an install and don't know what parts you "need".... someone who has installed one help me out hereOMG
