Has anybody put a magnusmotor sports stroker motor in their dsm im thinking about buying one does anybody have pros or cons about the motor?

You don't need it with your current mods at all. You would be able to tell everyone you have a stroker though. You would have a 6 bolt though so no more CW nightmares. To each his own but unless you are building some all out drag monster that can run 9's then it's a waste of cash IMHO.

Would you notice any performance from a stroker with those mods? My uncle is obsessed about throwing in a stroker in my talon. But it seems like a good idea, due to the fact I have to replace my clutch soon, and the engine has 130k on it and was abused.

Would it add like 50-100hp? Or would it only take affect with vast amounts of hp/mods?

It has the capability for more power, obviously due to the extra displacement. More cubes means more torque down low and an overall stronger powerband. If I sound vague its because this is an internet chatroom, go dyno the car if you want numbers. ;)

Sure, it can make more power. It adds a LOT of torque. You had better start a transmission budget now though, unless it's for a street car.

Like others have said, I think you could spend your money better elsewhere.

Yeah it will just be a daily driver with basic mods to it. Maybe a 16g or even a 20g, fmic, exhaust, datalogger, safc, boost gauge, MBC, 2g throttle elbow, fuel pump (still deciding between 190 and 255), maybe new injectors (???).

Basically I want to make at least 300hp/torque at the wheels and still have a comfortable daily driver. Its not going to be a full blown dragger (it may become one though, with my uncles plans OMG ).

Would a stroker and those mods be too much stress for a stock tranny and drivetrain?
