If I'm going to be installing a 2g mas on a 1g car can I still use the stock intake pipe or am I going to need a custom one...what about my brand new K&N air filter for the 1g...will that still work or I need a new one of those also?

More or less Its a good idea to install this. I just need to install this for as cheap as possible. Can some one post maybe a parts list that I need.
I see that a harness is needed is there any place online that sells the harness or everything needed as a kit?

You will need the stock 2g intake snorkle (Or aftermarket) you will need the 2g MAS and harness, you will also need a 2g Filter adaptor and filter, or i heard you can use a 3kgt filter as well.

Well put.... If you don't want to spend a lot of money check out www.VFAQ.com for how to modify your stock aircan to accomidate the 2g MAS. You don't have to get a wire harnes, and you would have to make one anyway cause no one sells them. You can just cut and splice, or soder. You will still need the intake pipe, and if you want to go with an open element filter I have an exrtra filter adapter I can sell ya cheap. It makes it so you can clamp a 4 1/2" filter on the end. Let me know
