i'm looking into getting the bosal's catback exhaust with the dual 3.5" inch tips. wondering if anyone else has had experience with this exhaust other than the one person who did the write up but didn't provide any pics. If anyone has this exhaust or heard about its performance i'de appreciate anything you have to say. The 3.5" dual tips sound a little big to me. if they were 3" tips i would like it a little better. I like the stock look of dual tips, haven't really found to many other exhaust with dual tips. also the price isn't bad at 290.00 bucks and its SS.

anything you guys have to say would help ecspecially some pics of the exhaust.

It actually looks EXACTLY like the picture bosal has provided... I just got mine this morning, looks great!

It does neck down at the catalytic converter flange, to 2", the entire rest of the system is 3"

Did you install it yet? Im really anxious to see how it sounds and how the ground clearance is. Also, where did you buy it from and how much did it cost?

Bosal Tech

I still have to take installed pictures.....

As for ground clearance... At the muffler the same as stock.. At the pumpkin maybe 1" or so lower than stock due to pipe diameter... It's as high as you can hang a 3" system... Infact it clears my ST swaybar which runs under it.

not installed yet, just got it this morning. I got it from sfxperformance.com 318$ shipped to my door. the 3 stage polish looks dope. Got it about a week after i ordered it.

necking down to 2inches is not good, at all. I suggest going to a muffler shop, cutting the neckdown off, and welding a tru 3inch pipe on there.

Exactly what I plan to do - depending on the price, I might just get a slip-fit joint and clamps to make it easily removable if need be.

It's easier that way and you can adjust for differences in downpipe length and the catback and pipe can be rotated indepenently then clamped down.

Cool, mngsx where did you get your slip-fit joint from to connect yours?

Any place that sells ss straight tubing....

I got mine from a welding equipment shop where I get equipment from... He happened to have some 3" ss tubing siting under the demo table. He made some 3" tips for someone and had some leftover tubing...

Just cut the end off the cat back and off the downpipe. Mount them on the car and measure the gap plus 4".

Then cut your tube to length and go to an exhaust shop and have them expand the tubing. Use the stubs cut off the system as a guide. Have it expanded to the point where the part just slips in...

I used this type of clamp due to the stainless construction and it makes disassembly later possible.. Qty 2

You can get them from extreme but the local parts place had them in stock and cheaper.

Less annoying than an NI but louder than stock or a 2.5" etc.... Kind of expected...

If you have ever heard a thermal system w/o a cat it is about the same...

When I get it detailed and shoot some nice side view shots you will realize just how much ground clearance you have with this over other systems because she is about as far into the weeds as you can go w/o having problems...

That is'nt on level ground but a downhill driveway. I swear an N1 exhaust would scrape on a speed bump this low but the Bosal does't hang much lower than the differential at it's lowest point... near the differential..

No. I've Heard a Apexi N1 without a cat and that shit is loud. Hows the sound compared to stock.?

Louder but not ear splitting like an N1..

Listen to a thermal research... about the same..

So are there any sound clips of this exhaust? I've heard some conflicting things, that it wasn't too loud, it was one of the loudest, etc. I'm looking for something kinda sleeper. I know it'll be louder but I don't want it to be too loud...

Little help?
