Calgary,
Ok, Got the 16G on now, and it's tempting to run the hell out of it. I'm going to do the fuel pump, injectors and something to control it all.
Please tell me your opinions on a MAF-T vs a SAFC I or II.
My ultimate goal is a daily driver probably running 12's or so. I'm just not really sure if it's better to go with an SAFC or use a MAFT. Which is more tuneable?

Also, I need injectors and I'll obviously be using one of the above. My question, if I go HUGE(680), will the translator be able to reduce the flow from them enough to run only at 15psi or so until I upgrade my exhuast/turbo again. Or should I just stay with some 550's or so? I just don't want to buy some 550's and then have to buy a whole new set later. Thanks guys!

Ok cool enough. Anyone have first hand experience with the Translator?

Secondly, I forgot to add that I'm running a 1990 ECU, so the trims are only between 80% and 120%. I'm assuming the MAFT will work with this computer?

Third, about the injectors. Because I'm running a 90 ECU, and I put some 680's in, will I only be able to "tune down" or reduce the amount of gas going into they cylinder 80%, or will the MAFT be able to change this for me?
Thanks again

Obviously it eliminates the MAF only. But even though I can tune and adjust with the MAFT, I'm still stuck with the adjustment via the ECU ultimately right? 80-120%?

what do you need for this maft? a translator right? and how much is everything?
3" or 3,5" ?
Thanks

Yes. I'm not going to talk about how much I love it again, search for it.

Yes.

The amount you can reduce the fuel has nothing to do with the fuel trim range of the ECU.

WOW I can't beleive I said that...sorry was totally not thinking and I meant to say MAF.

That has to be the stupidest thing I have ever said

Thanks for the discussion fellas. is ramchargers.com the best place to buy it or what? Any comments?

Injector wise, for your setup to be most effiecient I would recommend some PTE 580cc fuel injectors. You can get them at www.importpoweronline.com for the best price. No point in going 680+ for a 16G. Even if you get a 20G later on then these will still flow fine as long as you aren't in California on 91 octane.
