Hi,

Does anyone happen to know the bore spacing of a 4G63 motor?

A web and forum search only turned up the 2G NT bore spacing (96mm), but that's an entirely different engine. If the heads interchange it should be the same, but do they:confused:

If nobody knows I can think of about five ways to easily measure it from the outside but I don't have access to one right now :(

Marcel

PS - The reason I'd like to know is a manifold interchangeability matter... and no I am not turboing a NT

Do you mean the bore size or the space between the bores?
If you mean the bore size it is 3.465 or 85mm since your in Europe.

Hi,

Thanks but bore spacing is the distance between the bore centers. That's the bore size plus the "meat" left in between two adjacent bores.

That's usually the same as the distance between the spark plug centers, distance beween one side (or center) of each exhaust/intake port etc...

Bore, stroke:
420a is 3.444" x 3.268" = 87.5x83mm, 3.780"=96mm bore spacing
4g63 is 3.346" x 3.465" = 85x88mm. bore spacing ??
