EGT or A/F Ratio gauge

Both! They perform seperate functions. The A/F tells you when your running rich or lean and to be used for fuel tuning. The EGT is a safety so you don't burn up your engine running too hot mainly from running too lean. If i had to choose 1 or the other i'd go with a good EGT to make sure i don't melt my engine, but you really need both

If you have to choose one, I'd definitely go with the EGT over the A/F gauge. Although they are usually quite a bit more expensive it is a much more useful device. The stock oxygen sensor that you tap into for the A/F gauge is just not accurate enough. It will tell you a basic idea of the a/f mixture but that's about all. However, it is still useful for a basic check.

How about, you get an EGT and a Jumptronic A/F. You'll be much better off.

i already have a A/F but have an open spot on my pod should i get an EGT or should i keep the A/F n go with oil fuel psi or something?
