Greddy Type S bov

Well, I just got my Greddy fmic in. Can't put it on yet though b/c my bov doesn't fit onto the uicp. Right now I have a blitz bov, would u guys recommend getting a greddy? What do u guys think?

I'm not sure, but i think you might need to weld a blitz flange onto the greddy pipe to get the blitz to fit properly, http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/default.asp

i think its the 5th thing down that you need, but again i'm not sure so you might want to see what someone else says

Both are good BOV's. I run the Type S and havent had any problems at even at 26+ psi from the L3R. It's really just up to you and how much money you want to spend. You can get the Blitz flange and have it welded to the Greddy UICP all for about $50 I imagine. Or, you can order the type S for $179 and once it comes in bolt it on and sell the Blitz on the trader for $140 or so on the trader.

greddy type S or Type R both own!!!! you should be happy with ether one..( i've had both) but i have to say this APEX BOV GIVES HEAD .....

Hey, guys thanks alot! I'm still not sure about what I am going to do definately but i'm leaning towards just getting the flange. Thanks for everyones input. I'll get back to u guys.

this has nothin to do wiht the greddy bov but alot with the uicp.. i just pu tin my greddy uicp and had to have a hks flange(i have a ssq bov) on to it. if the piping is aluminum youll need a aluminum flange and youll have to find someone who welds aluminum. i had to call about 5 different shops untill i found someone to do it for me. only cost me $35.

Hey, yeah I am getting the flange for the blitz bov. I wasn't really talking about the Greddy bov though. I was asked more of what I should do to make everything work and fit together. But thanks for the info guys.

i had an hks ssqv bov on my stock piping, after i got an apex fmic and greddy intercooler piping i noticed boost leaks due to the non-perfect fit, however that is also due to the fact that i did not weld the hks bov onto the piping (which already has the flange), my solution was to sell my hks for a greddy type S bov, perfect fit onto my greddy intercooler piping, sounds great, good choice if u go for it

Hey guys, I just got in the blitz flange. It did not fit. It's not what I need I guess. It's still too small. I guess I'll just sell it instead of sending it back. Because there's a 25% restocking fee. Plus shipping it back. Doesn't seem worth it. So if you know anyone that would want this please let me know. Also, I guess I am going to have to order a greddy type s bov. Seems like the best thing to do now. Thanks guys for the help.
