HELP!! wiseco wrist pins

I am ordering a set of wiseco pistons from SlowBoyRacing. 9.1:1 compression and they come with rings. what about wrist pins. anyone know where i can get some? Do i need floating or press fit? I am lost. I have a 92 6 bolt talon. we bored the block .020 and i am ordering the pistons now. So what do i have to do about wrist pins. does arp sell any? any help is thankful.

wiseco pistons should come with wrist pins, (usually floating), and wrist pin clips

First off you shouldn't have bored the block until you got the pistons. Weiscos needa .005 tolerance. And each piston is different fromt weisco and each cyclinder should be specically bored for each piston to a certain tolerance.

Hi there, Wiseco Piston kits come w/ rings, pins and clips. As stated before...Wiseco pistons will measure within .0005 of each other in the skirt area (most-times immeasurable differences at all), but your machine shop needs to set their dial bore guage off of a micrometer, which is set off the diameter of our pistons. This is because machine shops do not have guaging for every conceivable .5mm bore increment.

As for clearance, unless you take the engine straight to the track or chassis dyno for a beating, we recommend .003 clearance measured at the bottom of the skirt. If you plan on giving your engine at least 500 miles of break in, feel confident in the .003 number as 1000's of customers have done with no problems. If you are going to beat on it immediately, go to .004 clearance...Wiseco's gauging point is different from some other manufacturer's, so comparing one to another is difficult without having the skirt profiles of each available.
