searching for maf translator information...please help

hello,

i am looking for a wiring schematic for the internals of a maf translator. i would like to make my own to save some $$

i know a thing or two about electrical stuff so it shouldnt be too hard.

anybody know where i could find one??

They are a company providing a product, they are not going to show people how to build something they have put development into.

If you don't know how to set up the circuit yourself, then don't bother trying.

It's not just a hardware issue, but a software issue as well. You need to run a constant conversion from one input signal to an output signal, and you need an equation or table for that conversion. You will also need to do corrections on top of that.

Not true.

If you had the electronic skills to build a translator, setting it up to tune whatever way you wanted wouldn't be very dificult.

The problem is setting it up at all in the first place.

Of course it can be re-created but the fact is, I don't think he has the skills to do it. Not a lot of people would. Only electrical engineers really and even they would possibly have a tough time.

Most people just don't have the resources at home.

You would need a flowbench to test and compare the mafs and know how to setup a circuit board and write the code just to start...

When or IS the MAFT 2.0 out?? I read about it a while back ago and heard it was suppose to make AFC obsolete, any info appreciated.

Argh. The information is all on the full throttle tech website.

Basically, finer adjustment, and a WOT tuning mode that gets rid of any need for a SAFC.
