What are some parts from other models you can swap in the 4g63? I'm talking about 3000gt and Evolution JDM parts ?

i know that you can put on an evo manifold, and posibly a 3000gt feul pump, also i saw intake manifold that came from a evo i think? it was wird looking, but the evo manifold is common

I know there is alot of things too. Maybe i'll just wait till the EVO comes out on January and compare parts. I really want something durable and most JDM parts have what i'm looking for.

WHATEVER GsT916!!! Hey, didn't i you lose to a mercury sable a few months back? ;) LOL seriously yeah...go for it man

depends on how you're gonna beat on your engine. you can get evo 8.7:1 stock pistons for like $200 and the rings for like $140 but that's for stockers, or buy the same ratio forged racing pistons for $400 and up from any number of engine builders, and have a stronger than stock setup. the only thing i'd reccommend for the price, performance and hassle are the big 16g, evo III exhaust manifold and evo III o2 housing, off of a jdm. i know that the evo 6&7 have an updated 4g63 engine that is flipped the other way, so i doubt that you could order parts that could fit or clear in the evo III style engine compartment(91-99 gst/x/tsi), or if you really want to go jdm you could probably order an evo III engine(red top with yellow injectors and comes with turbo) from www.risingsunengines.com and i think they are located in california. just stay away from the cyclone engines. they have butterfly valves to vary the intake manifold dimensions to flatten the tourque/hp band, you need a controller, and it's designed for cars that use japan's, 10x beter than u.s. crappy grade sulfur enriched gas, so it's pointless even if you could get it to work, other than that, i'm trying to get a set of 3000gt turbo front calipers and rotors to fit on my eclipse. those things are huge and have 'mitsubishi' stamped across it. evo's got a set of brembos too, but they are hard to come by here. try web sites in australia, the get a lot of jdm stuff and everything is in english if you don't have a web translator. the seats and steering wheels and shifters are bad ass and stock on a 99 lancer gsr, the rs is stripped like the type r, so look for gsr parts. hope i helped out some.

You did actually ,thanks !!! I might consider the evo 3 engine in the near future, but until then my car is still running.
