new turbo and not enough boost.

I just got the AGP turbo kit, 650 inj. and 255 walbro....... well at first I was overboosting like crazy. I took care of that but now I am only hitting 15 psi. I have the turbonetics evolution wastegate and profec-b boost controller..... I double checked the lines to make sure everything was setup right, I went to the greddy website to double check.. I changed the dip switches on the back and all that. I f you want to know what else I have just look on the profile...... oh and I also have the strongest spring installed with all 5 shims inside the wastegate.

Boost leak? Have you checked?

Try a cheap manual controller to verify what is causing the problem. If it persists, you have a leak, problem with the wastegate, or problem with the turbo (which I highly doubt) If the problem goes away, you know that your controller or the way it was set up was at fault.

well I tried the mbc and nothing else happen so today i'm going to check for boost leak! thanks for the info

this is going to sound stupid but I found out what was wrong.... I was getting ready to press. test everything and I took off the brass fitting off of the wastegate and I blew through it to make sure nothing was stuck inside and when I did nothing went through at all. The fitting was a defect it was a 90 degree one so I really never looked in the hole but it wasnt drilled all the way through so....... well anyway its my fault for not looking at the fitting...... but now that everything is working it is a beast with that turbo!!!!!
