i know this topic has been beat to death but i need your help guys, beyone what any search can yield for me.

heres the situation, ever since i installed my big16g (non ported) i have major, major boost creep issues. now, i have a evo 3 exhaust mani, apexigt downpipe with no cat to a apexi n1. i just did a mild port on my o2 housing, spent like an hour and a half porting it, and no difference whatsoever.

i get like 11 psi of boost, then around 4500 rpms it starts to creep really bad. like to 23 or 24 psi. now i wanna solve this creep issue so i can run a constant/solid 18 or 20 psi all the way through the rev range. now should i pull the o2 housing again and port it more and also port the wastegate passage on the turbine? or should i ditch the 3 inch downpipe and get maybe a short 3 inch dp that i can bolt up a high flow cat between the dp and catback? another matter i was looking into was just altogether ditching the 02 housing and getting one of these which is supposed to solve creep issues. http://www.machv.com/stainsteelox.html . now would that solve my creep issues for sure? anyone invest in one of those or know of somebody who makes one cheaper? even if that o2 housing wouldget rid of %80 of my creep id be satisfied. please help it really sucks having this much boost creep :(

my performance mods are as follows........

big16g turbo, ported o2 housing, greddy big fmic, evo3 exhaust manifold, apexi gt 3in. dp, 3in. apexi n1 catback (no cat), cool blue intake filter, 3in. extreme turbo intake pipe, matrix short throw shifter, joe p. MBC, RRE uicp, greddy type s bov, RRE throttle body elbow, RRE licp, walbro 190 lph, rc 550 cc injectors, apexi safc-2, autometer boost/vac guage, egt gauge, cyberdyne a/f guage, B&M fuel press gauge, bpr7es ngk plugs/ngk wires, act 2100.

god thats the most overpriced o2 housing ever.

I can see why you're so stumped, this has only been gone over 1,843,630,324,529,876,493,124,312 times.

Same for me, i havent had any creep issues at all.

First of all, how do you only get 11 psi of boost on a big 16g with hard ic pipes? The stock wg actuator is set at 14 psi. Mine boosts at 14 w/o the boost controller but will creep to 21 psi. With the boost controller set to 17 psi, I spike to 18-19, but settle to 17 and stay solid till 7500 rpm. My turbo is ported with stock o2 ported to 2.5", 2.5 dp, 3" cat and catback with stock wastegate flapper. Try turning up the boost to see if it gets better.

Actually stock actuator is set at 10. at least thats what mine is.

If the stock actuator on a big 16g is only 10 psi, why does mine boost at 14 psi without the mbc? I bought it brand new and only have 1k miles on it so I know the actuator wasnt changed by someone else.

simple, i have a joep mbc.

and just so u know the stock wastegate actuator on these turbos is an 11 lb spring.

You need to port the WASTEGATE INLET AND EXIT AREA.

Porting the O2 housing will not do jack. Port the wastegate inlet and outlet.
