i know this topic has been beat to death but i need your help guys, beyone what any search can yield for me.
heres the situation, ever since i installed my big16g (non ported) i have major, major boost creep issues. now, i have a evo 3 exhaust mani, apexigt downpipe with no cat to a apexi n1. i just did a mild port on my o2 housing, spent like an hour and a half porting it, and no difference whatsoever.
i get like 11 psi of boost, then around 4500 rpms it starts to creep really bad. like to 23 or 24 psi. now i wanna solve this creep issue so i can run a constant/solid 18 or 20 psi all the way through the rev range. now should i pull the o2 housing again and port it more and also port the wastegate passage on the turbine? or should i ditch the 3 inch downpipe and get maybe a short 3 inch dp that i can bolt up a high flow cat between the dp and catback? another matter i was looking into was just altogether ditching the 02 housing and getting one of these which is supposed to solve creep issues. http://www.machv.com/stainsteelox.html . now would that solve my creep issues for sure? anyone invest in one of those or know of somebody who makes one cheaper? even if that o2 housing wouldget rid of %80 of my creep id be satisfied. please help it really sucks having this much boost creep
my performance mods are as follows........
