Just trying to find out how much it would cost me to rebuild my head (well, my GSX's head to be exact ;)) in your shop.
a) with stock components
b) with Forged valves, Titanium springs.

How long will it take ?
(do you have a ready core to trade with mine, or do you actually rebuild mine)
And don't forget to give your fellow DSMer a disscount ;)

Why do I want it rebuild ?

Lifter tick gets Waaaaay to annoying,
Car blows out quite a bit of smoke when accelerating for the first time after ignition, which points to bad valve seals (as far as I'm informed)

While at it, I also got a Mutt and Starion IC in my trunk. What's the damage to install that ? (I got no plumbing for it, but I do have all the gaskets)

Thanks in advance for your attention.

What goal are you trying to attain with that head? I guess I dont understand the stock stuff and yet forged valves and titanium springs. Do you want something that will rev to 9? or something ported? valve job? If you give me some more specifics i can break out pricing a little better

I'm trying to get approx cost to do either stock or forget (sorry for being unclear)
It's not both, I will choose one or the other depending on price difference.

Thanks.

A stock rebuild isnt very expensive.. just checking the head and cleaning it up a little.. maybe redoing the valve seals.. you are looking at 250 max for a nice job on your stock head.. thats of course assuming that you removed the head yourself.

We have 3 Head packages from stage 1-3, 3 being a full race head, ported with flow sheets. our Pro Street Industries head packages range from 1000-1700.

Even if I remove the head myself, I doubt I'd be able to put it back without some guidance....
does stage 1 cost $1000 you mentioned ?
What does it include ?

Wait, what time you close today ?
I might be able to make it.
