alright heres the problem:

i have a hks ssq bov and its currently in the mounting flange for the stock uicp. i need to get it out of there so i can install it into my new uicp. what do i use to get the c-clip out of it????

i would like to do this before it gets dark, because its suspossd to rain tomorrow.

They are actually called "Snap-Ring Pliers". Because thats what holds the valve on, a snap-ring. Not a C-clip. A c-clip goes around the object it is holding. A snap-ring fits into a groove of the object it is holding. Not to be technicaly anal or anything. Its just the truth.

Agreed. However most of the c-clip/snap ring tools I've seen, and the pair that I own, are combination tools that handle either type.
