I just installed a TurboXS Standard MBC and I'm having problems getting it to work. Before the install I was getting 10-13 psi, and after the install I hit 20+ so I turned down the boost as far as it would go and I'm still getting 20+ so I removed it because when I hit the high boost my check engine light came on. now I'm not sure if I broke anything or not, it's still running fine but the engine light is still on. I think I must have installed it wrong. I've attached a diagram of how I hooked it all up. Am I doing something wrong? and any idea on why my engine light is on now? did I break something? Thanks for any help.

I was just thinking... Should I move the Tee between the turbo and MBC instead of between the wastegate and MBC? I've read over the instructions time and time again and I don't see anything wrong... that's the only thing I can see that might help, but I'm new to this so what do I know!

You need to take the stock wastegate solenoid completely out of the loop. Leave it hooked up electrically, but take off the hoses. Take out the tee between the MBC and the solenoid.

I'm not sure what to do about the hose between stock solenoid and the lower nipple of the Greddy BOV. My TurboXS BOV only has one nipple on the top. I'm sure a search on "Greddy" and "lower nipple" will turn up something.

yea cap the hose with the wastegate solenoid and the hose coming from the turbo (separate the "y" connection coming from the wastegate actuator).

The only "t" fitting u need to do is at the bov hose. the other hose goes directly to the wastegate.

Also, the reason why you still have your CEL (check engine light) is because you need to reset the ECU. Just take the negative (ground) side of your battery cables out for a couple of secs... then reconnect. Turn on your car and your CEL should be gone! :)

Hope this helps, g'luck!

Just make sure you have the right hoses on the MBC going to the right locations. I know for the XBC, you want to have the hose on the side going to the wastegate and the bottom hose going to the "T" fitting which goes to the bov/TB in your picture. Like they said, take all the other stuff out of the equation.

Noone has addressed this issue, but just incase, you might want to go by autozone and have them check the cel you got if its still on. To make it go away, just undo the cables at the battery and the ecu should reset itself.
