Hey guys I am no where close to being a newbie w\ dsms or turbo cars so dont treat me like im a dumbass.I tapped my boost gauge on my fuel pressure solenoid vacuum line and the gauge will only read boost. At idle, it is at 0psi, and between shifts, just goes down to zero, i dont get it.

Sounds like your gauge is fooked up...is it autometer?

If there was a kink in the hose then it would not read boost. Sound like that gauge is malfunctioning. I would take it back to the place you bought it from. Good luck

im almost 100 percent positive the gauge is fine, cause to test it out before installation, i would blow on the hose, and then suck on the hose to see what the reading would be, when i sucked on it, the needle went to vacuum, when i blew, it would move upwards as if i was boosting.

You've tapped the gauge on the wrong side of the fuel pressure solenoid (between the solenoid and the fuel pressure regulator). Install the gauge between the solenoid and the intake manifold.

Taboo,
thanks for the idea. It fixed the problem. I cant belive I tapped it in the wrong sport. Ive put on other boost gauges before, I guess I just had a hardcore brainfart on this one. Once again thanks man!
