speed limiter on a 96 GST how to get rid off what chip to get?

i need to get rid of my limiter so i need what chip i need to get so help me out please

You'll need an EPROM ECU out of any '95 turbo Eclipse/Talon if you want to put a different chip in it. You can remove the speed limiter from your current ECU if you want to, but be careful like the how-to page says.http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/speedlimiter.htm

I don't understand...you NEED to get rid of it? Where do you plan on going faster than 135 or so?

You won't be trapping anywhere near that...and you won't be taking it up that fast on any roadcourse, so why do you need to? Visiting the autobahn soon?

You can see my set up in my profile...it is very mild compared to some people's. 6,500 in 4th = about 130. Theoretically I can take it up way past that, but I havn't yet because there is no need.

My limiter kicks in at 115. Is that about right?

It should be just above 130.
