BOV dump tube

So I don't get it....you can't just take this tube off. What do you replace it with?

you dont replace it..you cut it of so that it doesnt stick so long down the tube....then the airstream wont be disturbed and you get a better flow down the tube.thats pretty much it.You can replace it too with a tube of metal or other material if you wnt to keep the stock part intact.

Does it really make that big of a differance? I am thinking about doing it tomorrow if I have the time..

if u have the $$.. you should just buy an intake.. if not then do this

TurboXS sells a hose adapter that replaces the stock dump tube perfectly. That is what I am using right now. Hard to see in the pic with the cap on, though. It's at the bottom/right hand corner of the picture.
