I have a 1g gsx and I was wondering if taking a intake manifold from a 99 gsx would help me with any kind of performance on my car? or if it can be done I asked earlier about the exhaust manifold also..

Basically this:

Stock 1G head is better then a Stock 2G
Stock 1G intake manifold is better then a 2G
Stock 2G Exhaust manifold is better then a 1G
Stock 2G 02 housing is better then a 1G.

Keep your 1G manifold. The 2G manifold would hinder your performance compared to your 1G manifold. The 1G head flows better than the 2G head so keep that in mind.

agreeded /\ :thumb:

Unless your willing to spend some money keep your 1g intake, you can get a 2g exhaust mani. or evo III both would be better then our 1g's, and are not highly priced. As far as intake go i would go with the Magnus or BJ intake both are light and made well and flow much better then our 1g intakes

I have a magnus sheetmatel intake and ,wow what a difference the weight is. When looking for a respectable company that knew what they where doing I looked for maybe a few good weeks .

I kept stumbeling on shops bad mouthing eachother about stealling eachothers designs and so on and so.

When I found magnus's intake manifold everybody had only good things to say and what really sold me was the guys at forced performance when they said they made 45 hp on small turbos and over 50hp with the bigger ones.

Im happy with it,considering it was also the cheapest on the market.
