i need some sort of datalogger myself.... where can i get a cable to connect to my laptop?? and what software should i use?? im new to this and my friend will tune it for me, i just need the hardware/software.... any recommendations?

im going by the stages provided by dsmtuner.com im at stage1 300hp, and im working on stage 2 400hp, and it says a datalogger would be useful.... any advice?
