on the 2G AWD turbo:

Can I just remove the bolts around the bellhosing then slide the tranny back and out of the torque converter, or do I have undoe the 4 bolts holding the torqueconver to the flywheel/whater that thing is called?

fluid will just start pouring everywhere right?

I'll see if I can get the 4 bolts loose first to slide the torque converter back. So I dont loose the fluid.

The block and tranny are out of the car yes.

Also, when I put them on the new block, what all is needed to allign them or what needs to be alligned?

when putting it all back together everything important involves the convertor.first off makes sure the convertor is full of fluid. you'll run the risk of blowing the pump otherwise. other then that you'll have to align the the convertor with the teeth on the shaft in the trans fairly simple to do just place it on and spin in clockwise while still pushing inward on it. should slip right in. take the time to notice the postition of it before you take it out maybe put a referance line to know when it is all the way back in. all this shouldn't take more the 10 minutes to do.

You do not need to undo the torque converter to remove the transmission u can remove the transmission by itself. And when u remove the torque converter it will leak fluid all over the place.
