I supposedly got a 2g auto trans that has the reworked valve body, restalled converter, and end clutch kit. It was given to me by a friend. He acquired it when he purchased someones stroker set up. Basically I wanted to know if there is any way to determine if those parts are actually installed. Also it has been outside, uncovered, for the past 6 months. Thanks.

The only way you could tell is by ripping apart the valve body and the same goes for the end clutches. For the converter, you would have to install it and brake boost and see if it's a high-stall. I wouldn't put a tranny that has been sitting outside uncovered for 6 months on my car unless it was thoroughly inspected by a perfessional.

Here’s a picture of my IPT 4k converter prior to the installation. The IPT unit had numbers hand stamped into the case, while the stock unit did not. I also have the IPT valve body assembly, but don’t remember it having any distinguishing markings.
