1G will 93 7bolt ATX trans mated to 92 6bolt block work?

I have 2 cars.

92 AWD 6bolt A/T good motor bad trans
93 FWD 7bolt A/T good trans bad motor

Not sure if anyone knows if I will need a new flexplate or anything special to put the motor from the 92 into the 93? Any help would be appreciated thanks Ryan.

Everything went right in like a charm. Obviously only difference being one had a 7bolt flex the other had a 6bolt. But each TC had 4 mounting tabs so it bolted right up. I had heard a few TCs only having 3 mounting tabs but this may be on NT cars. Not sure but its an idea.
