Tranny seems to go into neutral in overdrive

hey

there may be something wrong with my tranny but when i drive with overdrive off i seem to have no problems when the car shifts into gears but when i turn the overdrive on, it drives fine until i let go of the gas pedal and push the gas pedal again then the tranny just should go into what seems like 4th gear but instead the car goes into neutral and if i just slow down then it drives fine until i repeat the process. am i going to need a tranny rebuild and if so how much does it general cost?

Your end clutches need replaced. Contact IPT for more info. There is no need for a rebuild.
