Hello all

I just purchased a 93 gsx with an a/t. I have owned a 91 tsi awd 5 speed, and a 90 laser turbo fwd, 5 speed. My question is, when I am at a complete stop, and floor the car, it is extremely slow off the line. It does not accelerate well at all. I think my 60' would be close to 3 seconds. After I get going first gear has no urgency and kinda pulses with power. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be or is it just me?

Thanks
Roric

I see that you are in Newton, so if you would like to stop by the shop I'd be happy to drive your vehicle and determine what might be going on. We are in Hamburg, so it's only about a 20 minute ride from you.

I can be contacted by email [email protected] or phone 973 827 9946.

Sounds great!

I was actually going to stop by this weekend to get a couple prices on translab kit, end clutch and tq. Im sure you will notice what I am talking about right away.

Thanks

i'm no where near NJ but I think I have the same problem. I have driven a 90 laser turbo FWD automatic and it picks up much faster than my AWD auto. The only way I can shoot off is by break tourqeing but it's bad so I don't know what would be the problem.
