GA emission test

I just moved to coweta county and I need to get an emission test done.

I asked around and no one can do awd testing which is good, but since its a 95 they want to do a ASM test, which I know I will fail. Is there any way I can get put into a OBD test since I have a bloody OBD2? Is there a loop hole that can get me passed in any way.

there are only 7 counties in GA that do emmissions and you just happen to be in one, that sucks. Yeah, you could see how cool the guy is and ask him if $50 will pass an emissions test... Go somewhere that specializes in emissions. Not a gas station. $50 is what gets my buddies GSX to pass in PA.

The 1995 ECU is not quite OBDII compliant. There was a MIL bug in that year that would prevent passing the OBDII tests.

All year 1996 to 1998 ECUs have a common problem with setting readiness flags that will fail more often that not.

What 7 counties? Im from Coweta but I'm in VA for another year. I thought there were only a select few counties that DIDNT do emissions? I know Paulding doesn't as I lived there before the Air Force.

I live in lawrenceville (gwinnett) my address is at my inlaws house in auburn (barrow). I do this mainly to get past the emissions thing. I mean, if you are just renting your living quarters then find a friend or fellow DSMer who will let you put their addy on your DL. Not technically legal, but not illegal either....
