BW S256install on SS autochrome tubular mannifold
hi guys
when installing a BW S256 with 70 ar housing on to my exhaust mannifold
(T3 ss autochrome)
i had a clearance problem with the turbine housing touching the engine part where the
balance shaft is located
so i added some pics to show what i did
with the turbine housing touching the engine it was impossibel to connect the flanges

so i ordered a T3 flange of 1/2 inch thick and i machined off half the thickness on one side

i installed the shaved off flange between the turbo and the mannifold flange with the smallest part away from the engine turning the turbo forward away from the engine
leaving a 1/4 inch gap between the engine and turbine housing
