SharpHID 55w 4500k H3 kit

I bought a set of these for my 1g to put in my fog lights. They are awesome but there were a few quirks along the way.

The stock bulbs get held in on the very back by a wire that goes across them. The clips don't touch the base of the bulb like other H3 bulbs mount. Here is what my neighbor and I came up with. We used cable used for lawn mower throttles.

With that out of the way I felt my lenses were horrible. They are almost 20 years old! So I polished them up. I went sanded and went with 600, then 800, then 1000, then 1500, then 2000 grit. Lastly I used Meguair's PlastX to take out the cloudiness left even after sanding.

The one lens was dirty on the inside so I had to pop it off. I broke the adjustor screw trying to pop the screw from the lens. They barely turned anyway and were stripped, and made of plastic. So we used some screwdriver-head bolts, put a slit in them, and used an e-clip to hold them in place, along with new o-rings and some silicone-based grease. Mounting and wiring was non-specific, so I won't really comment on that. It's left to creativity.

I am very satisfied with this product. I definitely recommend! Shipping was fast!
