www.Punishment-Racing.com Downpipe

A couple of years age I ordered a 2.5 inch downpipe for my 90 fwd turbo from
www.Punishment-Racing.com and I have been happy with it ever since.
Naturally when it was time to order a downpipe for my 90 awd I went looking for
Punishment. After looking at there site and reading a few posts I discovered that
they were in the middle of restructuring the business so the only thing I could do was
try to contact them through email.

After sending in my request for a downpipe I was immediately contacted back and I
found out they were ready to roll on what ever I needed. I was going to be able to
test there first downpipe with the new True Pipe Design, in fact the pictures of the
downpipe on there site is the actual pipe that is now on my car. After a few days
I found an L shaped package leaning on my mailbox, I picked it up and was surprised at
how well it was wrapped, I could have dropped it from the top of my house and
it would have never got scratched. I excitingly cut through the wrapper to
discover a very well constructed pipe.

The finish of the pipe was black and was very attractive; I almost hated to hide it
under the car. I had asked if there was anyway to add a bung for a wideband and I
was told there would be no problem. The bung set about six inches down from the
flex just as I had asked. One thing I am always worried about when I order car
specific parts is the fit, but the down pipe went in against my stock cat perfectly and
the bung lined up exactly were I wanted it. Once everything was hooked back up and
I fired the car I could tell a difference in the tone of the exhaust right away. The
tone was deeper even with the stock cat-back.

I am very happy with Punishment-Racing.com not only for the great product but also
for the wonderful customer service. They have already followed up to see if I liked
the downpipe and as soon as I take it to the track this coming weekend I will let
everyone know how well it is doing. I am very confident that this pipe will outflow
not only my old downpipe but any other 2.5” downpipe on the market.
