dsmchip keydiver chip stage 3

Attempted tuning 680 pte's with just an safc with no success. Car would struggle at high rpm's. After investigating all possible problems, I bought keydiver's stage 3 dsmchip with the following specifications:

- 1990-94 MT
- Eprom E742
- Rev limit 7500
- Octane reset: Yes
- Eliminate fuel cut: Yes
- Boost guage converted to knock: Yes
- Launch RPM FWD 3500
- Shift RPM 5500
- AC cutout (throttle): Yes
- Idle RPM: 750
- Injector size 640
- MAS type: stock 1g
- High speed closed loop: Yes

What a world of difference. I'm running a big16g, 190lph pump, and 680pte injectors; All else stock. Car runs almost perfect without safc adjustments. Note that the chip comes with some room to lean out for better performance - better safe than sorry. I'm currently running 20 psi and car pulls like mad.

For those on a budget and can't afford dsmlink, I would highly recommend the dsmchip/safc combo. A used safc can be found on ebay for cheap.

Chip comes ingeniously packed and includes the chip socket to be soldered to the board.

Please don't use the low end socket Keydiver ships in your ECU. The standard wiper style socket does a horible job holding the chip in place. It can even push the chip out of the socket over time. .People used to go reseat the chip in early computer systems as part of the service process because chips in standard sockets come loose.

A machine pin socket is a much better choice. They are designed for use in applications subject to vibrations and the EPROM chip won't pop out on it's own.
