Do you guys know the shampoo trick for getting rid of fog well for those who dont here is a trick to remember for when your plannin on parkin somewhere with your hot date... Take a dab of shampoo on a rag and wipe it on your windshield get it spread pretty evenly then when your done doin that let it sit for a minute or two and wipe it off streak free and then take your date out and give it a try..:D

cool...will try that, although an Eclipse is kind of small to be doing anything worthy of fogging up the windows...:p dont ya think :D

yes it definetly should and one other thing when you clean your windows and you get those streaks try using newspaper to wipe away the windex it will never leave you with those nasty streaks again

I'm not small (5' 8" 165lbs) and just so everyone knows, talons are NOT too small to do anything that would fog up the windows. Check out my car domain (http://www.cardomain.com/id/84fiero4speed ) to see my custom back seat. I know it totally doesn't fit the vehicle, but I've got a crushed velvet back seat with neons and strobes and a playboy bunny pillow. I'm definately gonna try that to keep the windows from fogging. Gets really annoying around here (Fargo ND) in the winter because it freezes right away so you get a nice layer of ice on the inside of the windows.

I'm not the smallest either. I'm 6' 1" and 192 pounds and I can move around in there just fine. You guys that think its to small must have really big dates if ya know what I'm sayin:p . Maybe their like the moped thing you want to ride one but you don't want your friends to know about it...

Sorry about bringing back a dead post, but I have to comment on this one. I can vouch for the glycerine based substitute for window fogging, it works well. Also for your 2G guys who say thers not enough room do what I do: On any hot spring/summer night completely clean out your hatch and open it up. Fold the back seats down and push your front seats all the way forward and tilt them down(like your letting somebody into the back seats). Add pillows and voila!.... youve got a PLENTY roomy space and you can watch the stars (always a plus to the ladies.) Dont forget to unplug the light harness to that annoying hatch light. For even more schweaty fun... add some worthwhile rice. RED hatch neon.

Yeah, I've done that too... actually more room than it seems back there. (Remember kids always use a Jimmy Hat and keep your heads pointed AWAY from the dashboard.)

Thank You!

I always get fog on my windows, and it's on every window!!!
Always gotta F'*** around with the heater controls to get rid of it.

Does using shampoo leave any streaks "after" it dries up? I've used those anti fog wipes from uhh...RainX I think, and they streak my glass really bad. I couldnt really tell till it got dark and headlights shining in my face revealed what appeared to be snotty streaks on my windshield.

Hey I dont know about you guys but the fog is a major plus, well i dont have tinted windows, and atleast with the fog, when the neighbors are walking the dogs or the nosy neighbors looking out the window they cant see much. The last broad broke my cup holder  , then I threw her back out :D ............

with rainx on the windows you have to buff, and buff, and buff some more. so that might be it.

I think you're right. That stuff is hard work man! I've been using "2001 wax" on my windows for years now so I have a fairly new box of those Rain X wipes just chillin out.

Yeah, fog makes a good screen when you're parked and you dont have tinted windows, but what about when you're driving? I've got 20% platinum all the way 'round but since humidity is really high on the Gulf Coast my windows fog up like a mo fo. Im sure FireBretha knows my whoes.
