Ok i'm really thinking about getting adr 17in white rims for my 2g talon. I just need some opinions. I don't wanan hear what you like, everyone has there own taste. i just wanna know if it would look nice and not hideous. Also if you have any pics of white rims on a dark colored dsm that would be awesome.

I have a (% eclipse w/ very dark green color, and I have ADR white 17" rims. They are friggin awesome. You can check out my ride at cardomain.com. BBut do keep in mind that I haven't updated the pictures in about a year...since then it's been lowered, body kit, engine mods, and oh 'bout 4 grand more.

But the white rims....Go For It!>

Go chrome. Dark colors and chrome always looks tight. White on white would be alright, but anything else I think it'd clash. Kind of like how chrome wheels with silver does, so you stick silver with silver. Personally I think black and gunmetal rims always look like you drove through an oil slick or never wash your wheels. Quality chrome rims look great blazing in the bright sun. (don't settle for that polished aluminum or brushed metal crap, or even cheap chrome with a thin finish)

Well the reason i'm aksing this is because i've seen white rims on a black supra and i think it looked sweet. I like silver, chrome looks too ghetto kinda looks cheap to me. Sorry i would only get chrome on a Escalade or something like that. I like gunmetal but to me its too dark on a dark colored car. I doesn't make the rims stand out. I was looking at these new ADR rims that were gunmetal with a machined/polished lip. I think they look awesome, so i might go with those. Plus there also supposed to be around 17lbs each.

And white rims don't look like cheap plastic? Like a matchbox car. Not to mention having to clean them every other day.
