Rims!? Whats your thoughts?

I was on wheelsnext.com and i came across the Demonya rims. I never really payed attention to them before, but man, i think these are sweet. Reason why I am asking your opinion is because I am getting an Eclipse within the next month. I am trying to find everything I want to put on it before I get it that way I have my mind made up for what I want. It will also be my first car, I am 17 almost 18 years old. My dad told me I can only get a GS/RS, but I am gonna drop a nice turbo in whatever I get. Keep in mind, my mind is not made up on these rims, just seeing what u guys think. Anyway, if you like the rims, that's all that matters, so get them. Personally, I don't really care for them, not my taste.

Thanks man! I haven't got it yet, but I am definately getting it very very soon. I like these rims because they are unique, not many people have them. I think they would look hot with red calipers on a black or white 2g eclipse. (97-99) But, there is alot of rims i like, but i just came across these. thanks for the reply.

i honestly do not like them at all. i have never seen them on an eclipse though so who knows, they might look good. if you really like them then get em and let us see how good they look. good luck with your project

I personally do not like them... You may want to browse the gallery to see what style of rims you like, and that way you know they will be what you want on your car...

Awsome rims dude their way tight also congrats on ur frist car good choice , (just a suggestion) but if your into chrome like myself or even sliver check out the Katana Destineys im ordering a set of 17' chrome ones next month they're real tight too also www.wheelmax.com has some tight rims

Thanks for the replies peeps! Yeah, i have been looking at Eclipse's for 2 years now, and everytime i try to find an alternate car incase i cant find an eclipse i like, but i always keep coming back to eclipses. Mines gonna be pretty sweet. the only ricey thing im doing is carbon tail lights and thats because carbon fiber is an awesome mod to do to a car. Plus, i want to get the center carbon fiber peice from importfan.com. No stickers/sponsers and shit going on my car....just a clean car. thinking about doing the RMDSM chin spoiler with rudora side skirts and an invader carbon hood/ or either the VIS Evo carbon fiber hood.

those are some nice rims Red. Should look real nice on ur car. But i like these Demonya's or either these Tenzo Sinko R's in gun metal....

i dont like em at all.....but that's just me, and the other 4 or 5 people up there. but hey, if that's your thing get em. dont listen to other people as long as you like em.
you're damn lucky (in a way) that you're getting an eclipse as your first car. my first car was a P.O.S. ford escort that didn't run for $200.00 i had to put a fuel pump in it in the middle of winter. you'd think there would be an easier way to drop a gas tank.....anyways, you might want to get a "back up" car in case your eclipse take a sh!t on you. i love mine to death but i'm driving my F-ing escort around again because my Talon hasn't started for 3 weeks...... good luck with your car man, it sounds pretty bad ass and you dont even have it yet.

PS. if you see a white boy drivin a 1990 ford escort around, dont flip him off, go easy on him. it's probobly me!

....thanks for the reply man. yeah i guess i am lucky starting out with a nice first car. see my whole family knows everything about cars from head to toe....except me. my dad has built a car from the ground up before. I will have him helping me out, my brother and my uncles too. I know there is a great possibility of things happening, but i have them to help me out alot, which helps. But, the only thing, i cant have a back-up car, my dad wont let me. its all good though, if something happens, ill just have to deal with it. Yeah, I am gonna do this car the best i can. It wont be too extreme, but it will be unique none-the-less. I cannot wait to start throwing some shit on it. Its gonna be alot of fun.

*EDIT* I was looking at these rims for a while and I was wondering, would there be a way that I could have the lip on the rim polished chrome? like have someone do it customly? I think these would look a whole lot better with a chrome lip instead of the black lip.

I dont really like them either, but it's whatever make you smile or whatever. Hell, someone told me that they didn't like my rims. I sure as hell didn't put that on my "things to cry about" list. :laugh:
