changing panel colors!

Sup all, i have a red 99 rs with the black and tan interior, i want to change the color of the panels and faces of the a/c, door panels and all that i want to change them to red but i have no idea how and where to start, ive seen some of the pics on here and its been done i just dont know how, anyone with any info would be cool, thnx. oh yeah sry for the noob question

Pretty simple. Remove the pieces prep and paint. I have seen some cars that have had this done and it looks good. But on the other hand I have seen some seats and doorpannels done too but after while the paint wears off and it looks like crap. Never seen any problems with panels for the HVAC, Stereo and such. I would stay away from seats and door panels.

the door panes are a pain. Krylon fusion is the best paint to use. Get a paint prep to clean all surfaces. Just a good wax and grease remover that is used by any bodyshop to prep with.
