does anyone make an air ride that will fit an AWD dsm? i found the one at gaugemagazine.com, but that only fits FWD

i really want to have instant adjustability but being AWD its very hard to find a kit for it..any suggestions? how hard would fabbing up a hydraulic system be for the car?

tien makes a coilover system that has a cockpit adjustability. I cant remember the model number. Go check on tien's website and see if you can find it.

thats not for ride height adjustability...thats for stiffness and all that good stuff

this sucks i really want something so i can adjust the ride height on my car from inside instead of going through all the wrenching BS....but i cant find anything

hehe i just moved from IL, cold sucker.

anyways, do you race your car? beat up on it? if so then just forget any thoughts of air ride like i did. lotsa chit breaks on it.

if you have a nonturbo daily light car, then you can see about how to fab the FWD one in, i know theres a guy in the susp forum who could tell why, i saw him post about clearance for rims and was mentinoing the diff why theres diff in aWD to FWD and thats a possiblity why things are different and then how you could change it.

but i stick with my last statement, if you are rough on your car, the last thing you want to think is will a bag blowout or something while doing 130Mph+

www.aimind.com I THINK

if not, go to google.com and search for Aim Industries

I bought my air cylinders through them. They don't make them FWD/ RWD specific. One kit fits all versions of 95-99, as the suspensions mounts are the same...you get 4 cylinders, bigger ones for the front (engine bay weight) etc. etc.

I'll post pics if you want.

Cost me $1400 including shipping, standard tiny 3 gallon tank (unbelievably small...but my trunk is packed) and an upgraded 100% duty cycle so I don't burn out the stock compressor they send without the upgrade. Took a week to arrive, 4 boxes. Your choice in color for the switch box, so be sure to mention which color. They won't give you the tracking number for some odd reason, or so I was told. Either way, I mentioned some "bad" things I had heard about them, and they gave it to me...soo, whatever, I got everything I requested. Stick with 1/8th lines..so you don't drop super fast, etc.

im not sure if someone mentioned it, but WRX's have a system that is air ride but its good for road racing, has 3 levels...one close to stock...one alittle lower....and one that is pretty low more for show I think
its $$$$$ like oover 2500

ok i called and they have the kit im looking for...
itll be about 1500 in the end, that includes a 6 gallon tank, brass/plastic fittings, all hoses, extended 6 month warranty, all struts and compressor, its front-back side to side, lowers the car 4-5 inches on lowest setting, so almost to the ground

seems pretty nice...

holy sh!t i'm surprised that loser that thinks riding around on 3 wheels is cool hasnt been in here yet
