I have all the bolts and screws undone towards the back of the glove box. However, I can't get the box open? The ignition key for the car doesn't open it. Can I drill it out?

that sucks dude....think if u have any spair keys maybe the key got worn down and part of the cutting isnt there to hit part of the hole in the glove box never kno...if u dont have any spair keys go to mitsu and get them to get u a new key for ur car....u gotta have the new key tag number on a little piece of medal...after that i dunno id say ur screwed if that doesnt work....good luck

im sure that your key wore down and didnt unlock part of the lock that it was supposed to...those things are cut so perfectly that if they get grinded down at all it wont work...lucky it still starts ur car but hey glad u figured it out...

Yeah, I just tried the spare key and no luck. I can pull the front part of the glove box enough to see the actual key lock assembly. Can I maybe unlock it without a key??
