Projectors and HID's

i purchased a set of hid's and to make the quality better i know i need to do a retro fit. so i have 2 questions. where can i find projectors like valeo, bosch or s2k or audi's ones ? my next question is how much better quality would getting a projector be vs gettin a set of black apc projector headlights? im assuming id get alot better lighting out of a retrofit, but im too broke to pay someone and im very unconfident in taking apart a headlight and doin the retrofit myself.

You can find hella/valeo projector units on ebay (search for D2s) and www.hidtech.com. First of all, the quality and performance of hella projectors over the ones you find in ebay projector head lights is day and night. They are built for HID capsules and will give you a perfect cut-off and that color-change flicker affect you see on BMWs.
Retrofitting a hella/valeo projector into the stock headlights is a BIG PROJECT (if done right), especially if you're not quite sure what you're doing. Do some research on retrofitting:HID forums has a ton of examples.
If you're still feeling unconfident, I would at least settle for the newer dual Projectors headlights. I've heard nothing but bad things about the single projector headlights, and chances are you have a 9006 HID kit, meaning they'll only fit in the duals anyway.

Listen to da man! remember dont get caught up with bad quality lights, they might be a cheaper price but it well worth getting the good stuff.
