people with dyed seats...I have questions

I have leather seats and am curious about dying them...I'm just looking to make them black with a nice dark blue in the center. I have the vinyl dye already ( dupli-color yinyl and fabric ) and was wondering if it works on the leather and if it'll rub off.

I know people have done it, but does it rub off onto your clothes and wil it fade quickly?

Do NOT use that duplicolor junk on your leather seats!!! If you want to dye your seats then get a water based dye and not anything lacuqer based or it won't last. I used a product called Molecu-Bond and that has held up to everything and looks factory when applied.

the dupli-color worked beautifully on my vinyl dash...it looks factory. I think I'll just try to find some SEM for the leather
