Ok I just got the avital 2000 keyless entry system for my car. I ahad
it installed by a shop near my house. They encountered some problems
with the turbo timer and the avital system. They said the car will
not lock with the car still running and they don't know why. So ic
an't walk away from my car and lock the doors b/c i have turbo
timer??? There has to be a way around this....

Thanks for the link bro but this doesn't help me. I don't have a stock alarm or an alarm at all. I have aftermarket keyless entry w/ no alarm. all that stuff they hack ito is the stock alarm which i don't have.

Depending on which wires you have connected to the TT, and again which wire the shop used to connect the keyless entry. You only really need two wires from the TT hooked into the ignition, Red and Green. Usually depending on the TT there is a Blue wire hooked up too which taps into the ACC (blue) or IGN 2 (black/blue). Most alarms use either of these as the "switched ignition" and if current is running to it the alarm won't arm. Most say to have your TT tapped into the IGN 2 so that while the TT is running your cooling fans will also run. If it's tapped into the ACC then your radio will run and that's about it.

Does any of this makes sense:confused:

Find out which wires the shop tapped into and we can go from there.
