Speaker question

Ok i know my eclipse which is a 98 that did NOT come with the infinity sound system runs 6x9's in the rear...but i am confused about the 2 front speakers in the doors.... i have heard 2 different sizes.... 6 1/2's and also 5 1/4's...... so can someone please clarify what size my door requires....and if i do sadly only have the 5 1/4's...can u install 6 1/2's speakers in there because i know some eclipses have 6 1/2's.....thanks

6 1/2's when I did the install on my talon and my eclipse.

So my final answer is 6 1/2. No Lifelines.

My 95 talon has 6.5's in the front doors. My 98 talon has 5.25's in the doors, but the 98 has some kind of aftermarket mounting plate (scosche or whatever).
I think 6.5's are stock size.

6.5's will fit in any 2g.
