My window are tinted..I used to be a car thief and would scout around for cars that look nice and look for kick panels, tint, you name it any sign of stereo equipment. Me and my firends used to follow cars with alot of boom and go hit'em a few days later.

Thats why my car sits inthe garage with the alarm on, under the cover, with the house alarm on as well....
Q-Forms are not THAT visible, but they can bee seen....
If you want better sound (kick panels), then you can make, or have made, you can get a 5.25 inch coax in the space of the factory kick panel. This takes a bit of metal cutting, and some fiberglass work, but it can be done.

If what you say is true, then you are a f*cking retard. People who steal other peoples cars, are one of the lowest forms of scum. I hope you contract a disease, and spend many years suffering.

You guys are getting up tight cause I said I "USED TO BE" a car thief. Those where my youngers year and have grown out of all that and I don't condone any actions of that nature. My stealling days where back when I was 15-16. I am no longer that 15 or 16 year old kid and my life is completely different. I have also learned alot about how to keep my car safe.
You all ( nholley, dTERM ) want to disrespect me cause of things I did almost ten years ago. Just because I did that back then doesn't mean I'm not remorsefull about it now and it doesn't mean I'm still doing that. You guy should be ashamed of the way you would treat people and you don't even know them or how they live. I've grown up, why don't you guys.
Now to those how helped, Thank you for you ideas and input

if you've looked for kickpanels before in cars, you should already know just how visable they are. actually you have an advantage...you know what to avoid in order to keep your car and it's belongings safe.

Hey man, I am not trying to hate, If things are different now then cool. I guess all anyone can ask is that people learn from their mistakes. I apologize for any offense.

I never apologize...and I'm fairly evil in regards to punishing lawbreakers. I've had my stereo stolen, then my truck was taken. If I ever catch someone breaking into my property again, the Judge will only hear one side of the story. Did you go to jail when you were a kid? Did you return the stolen property? If you did, good, debt paid. If not...too bad for you, I'd hate to have to live with it. As for the kick panels. They're nice and all, but not much of an improvement on the factory locations. They're visible, if you know what to look for, and the thieves do.

Big Toes!
Depends...if you just get the Q-forms, you may have problems. Try just laying a 6 1/2 inch speaker on the floor of the car. This is NOT the same thing, but will give you an idea of how much room they will take. Laying the 6 1/2 speaker on the floor will take MORE room than the Q-forms. If you can handle the space limitations, then you can handle the Q-forms.
If you have some cusotm built, then the possibilities are endless as to what can fit with your big toes.
The first set of kick panels I had in my 97 GST took LESS space than the factory kick panel....I actually heated it up, and bent it back into the firewall and sides of the car. Granted...it only added about 1/2 to 3/4 inch....but that was better than giving up space.
The new set of kick panels I have stick out a bit...bit still dont bother MY toes (size 10 1/2).
