changing greddy tt backlight color...

Does anyone know how to change the backlight color on the new greddy turbo timers. I know on the box, it shows that it lights up blue or amber. Right now mine is blue, but I would like to change it to amber, I have looked through the instruction manual, and didn't see anywhere in there that said how to change it.

Any ideas? Or did I just over look it.

I don't know on the TT, but I know for some of their other items, there are 2 models...in this case maybe a blue one and an amber one??...I dunno, I think your best bet, would be check the website or head back to the retailer you got it from...

I am pretty sure that you have to buy either the blue one, or the amber one.. Unless you tear it apart to find the bulb and change the color.

I know it does both, because when it turns on, it blinks amber...then stays blue. I remember when I first installed it and it would shut down with the music playing, it would toggle between amber and blue on its own. After I turned the music off, now it just stays blue all the time.

yea, I wondering thet same thing, but I dont think u can change the color of it to stay red/amber all the time. If u find something out about it let me know.

I let you know..... I have tried searching on google, and haven't had any luck. I found a couple of other threads that also asked about changing it, but none with info on how to set it up.

I had got used to the bright blue.....then my friend was messing with it, and pointed out that the amber would look some much better with the stock amber look the 2gs come with.

yea, I got the same thing, amber lights on the dash , and I have the Defi D - Series gauges, that light up amber.
