I have a 99 gst. I have a viper alarm (450 i think) with a greddy TT. I am trying to get the alarm to arm itself when the turbo timer turns the engine off. Right now when i try to arm it (with the TT going) it'll beep once...then beep again 2 seconds later (like its rejecting it). So right now the only way it'll arm without me arming it is if the door closes with the engine already off. Im sure im not the only one thats had this problem....any suggestions?

yeah, go back out side after the TT shuts down, and arm the car.

I have to do that as well, but I have the stock alarm..

Lucky for me I dont realy need the alarm in my area... rednecks are to stupid to know how to brake into a car other than a slimjim...

I just hit the power lock button as I'm getting out the car if it's still counting down. VFAQ has a way around this if you have the stock alarm.

Viper alarms will chirp(the 2 sec later chirp) when the alarm is armed and a sensor zone is tripped, in your case the ignition is on.As soon as the TT shuts off, it will re-enable the ignition zone(and usually chirp again). So don't worry about it, your alarm is working fine and fully protecting your vehicle after the TT shuts off.
