Ive got a 92' Talon and the stereo doesn't work, I don't think it is the deck because it turns on and everything, just no music. I don't even know if these cars have amps in them.. any suggestions BTW my stereo is all stock.

Thanks

this might be it i dunno...when i was werking on my car, i had to undo the battery cable. If the battery cable is disconnected for more than an hour, the stereo will not work. you have to put a code in.

Does it have speakers? A lot of people will remove their aftermarket speakers when they sell the car, and sometimes not even put in replacements.

Yes, the car has speakers. Basically, when i turn the radio on, you hear the little pop noise from the speakers and the radio shows that it is getting station and everything, but no music. Do 1g's come stock with amps anywhere in them???

The amp's in the HU. Time for an aftermarket HU. They aren' that expensive.

I've got two different head units, one that came stock, and one from a 94 Eclipse, neither work, I don't think the 94' is blown because it worked fine in my bro's car.
