I had Best Buy install a Kenwood KDC-422 CD/MP3 player and I have a problem. Best Buy had to do a total re-wire because I had the Mitsubishi Premium Sound package with the little 80 watt amp. The problem is my CD player has no sound when I turn on the car, yet it has power and I can change tracks and switch sources. Switching sources usually makes the beeping sound but it doesn't even do that (and yes, I have the "Beep On" option enabled).
The only way to get sound out of my CD player is to power the unit off and wait for my antennae to retract all the way down, then power it on. This does not happen every time I turn on my car, but it does it at least once a day and it's a big annoyance. Could Best Buy have installed it wrong? Does anyone else have this problem? Please help me out, it has been plaguing for a while. I would appreciate it
