TIPS on Installing Skirts

Do you guys know of any good tips on installing stock 97-99 eclipse sideskirts. I have a 96 Esi so it will need holes to be drilled. Is there a template for drilling the holes?? What drill bit sizes should I use?

I have all 6 pieces with every tab\screw still entact. I have a drill but dont know what bit size to use. Can i use chalk on the push tabs and then press it up against the car then drill??

any tips?

I had aftermarket sideskirts not stock eclipse ones on my talon, but I just drilled and used 10mm bolts. I'm assuming you'd just drill where the sideskirts line up.

just do this...have all the clips on the side skirt and then take some grease or white out or whatever that would leave a mark on the paint....so put that stuff on the tips of the white clips that are inside of the sideskirt and you and a friend hold the side skirt up to the car and make suer its all straigh and when it looks straight and right took the side skirt to the body of the frame and then it will leave a mark of where your clips have just touch..so you can drill the holes right where it marked and there you go..

will there be any problems with rusting under the sideskirts from the drilled holes?

To keep it from rusting, paint the holes, silicone the clips, or use grease. I used the silicon on the kits I put on a friends car. It will keep it from rusting and also helps hold it. Just use 100% silicone and not caulk.
