I don't think you can have "too much" ground, but it does look a bit like your wires are much larger than their connections. Doesn't hurt anything, you might have spent ten bucks too much on copper is all.

pretty much it was left overs from my previous car system
It was an a Lancer i know weak LOL. But iw as fun good times. Thanks once again

actually, it does help. if you have a better grounding system, you will have better spark, wich means better ignition of the air-fuel mixture, wich in turn means....C'mon man, you know it...... nothing? ok, i'll tell you BETTER GAS MILAGE!!!!! good try though man, really, it was a good try. Now, don't get me wrong, if you are useing small wires, you won't see much of a difference, but if you are not a cheap bastard, and get some decent wire, you'll notice... it also helps with drivability and starting

Yeah its cool i jsut did it for looks nothing else. Like isaid just was not feeling the yellow and black on the stock grounding. didnt do it for performance . If in anyhting i would have to repalce spark pug wire for better spark.

WRONG

do some research.

whoa there big boy, strategically placed and thicker ground wires DO help spark, starting and significantlycan improve hp. that is why companys sell hyper grounding systems....read bub some improv almost 6-8 hp, thats alot for a ground wire...

at-a- boy :thumb:
looks good.
heres mine.. looks a little better now than it this pic.

:shhh: But somebody needs to do more research and quit posting useless posts!

Grounding wires DO do something. Import Tuner did a Power Page awhile back on a Eclipse. I think it increased HP by about 6WHP. Torque was also increased, but I am unsure how much. From the factory, some ground locations in the engine bay have a high resistance. By lowering these resistances (adding grounding locations) you are creating a stronger return path for the battery. Voltage drop is minimized on the ground side and current flow is increased.

dont even get me started on import tuners or that eclipse they tuned.

show me proof that it works. i need proof that's not from a vendor. everyvendor that sells them will claim power. import tuners is not a source either.

thanks man, i almost lost hope..... now i know that not all talon drivers are dumb ie, ***turboawd. take your ass to the library, and stop listening to your buddies, uncles, mom's boyfriends, ect. YOU DO SOME RESEARCH:thumb:

you want proof??? i t (import tuner) is enough but since you specifically requested, i will remove mine and re dyno without the ground, then dyno again with the ground, yeah right, how about i just travel to michigan and race you :D would that be enough proof?????????

just trust us it really does make that, it does work i use it and think that a similar system should be used as a basic 1st tune upgrade.

i have an idea, how many of you use this type of grounding system, show of hands and testomonials please

i use it and have noticed a small ammount of initial torque from take off.

and if you still dont beleive that is ok.... then i will wave when i pass with my extra 6 hp.:thumb:

5hp peak gain, and like 16 lb ft of torque. they also said that there was an engine fire before they picked up the car, so the wiring wasn't the best anyways. Import tuners sucks man.

i would love to race for money or slips...:D so when and where do we meet !!!!!!!!!! preferably slips, not that im into all that slow and the curious stuff, i just could use another parts car!!!
