Algonquin,
the radio and amp are infinity.. but what about the speakers are those infinity too? are they any good?

stock speaker in almost every car except the new model are crap. If you want a good sound get rid of them and go buy some new one. in think their like 15watt rms so dont bother and go buy 50-60W rms one with a good head unit.

I don't agree, I think they're a fair amount of good. Then again, I've always thought putting a lot of work into a sound system into a car is kind of shovelling sand against the tide. The goddamned sirens eff up listening to music anyway.

However, a very large industry tends to make my opinion rather lonely.

I bought a new head unit, tried 2 different speaker combinations and it still sounds like shit...So im baffled here:confused: Nothing close to a new cars audio system

how can yo buy a new sound system and still sound like shiit ! What brand was it? Maybe you installed it the wrong way. You gotta install the right wire on the right pole or youre gonna loose bass.

Bought a Kenwood 50x4 Head Unit.

1. Kenwood speakers arne't that great.

2. You need an amp. The speakers you got are not performing to their full potential...find out their RMS power handling and buy an amp that matches. I'm guessing atleast an amp that does 50x4 RMS. Right now, your head unit is only giving them about 20-25 watts RMS. And don't expect an signifigant bass without a subwoofer...full range speakers like you bought just aren't going to cut it. Also, be sure to tune your HU right, it can make all the difference in the world.

And yes, the stock Infinty system sucks. The factory amp is weaker than most aftermarket HU's built-in amps and the speakers are crappy paper cone full ranges.
