I was just wondering if anyone is running a stereo in their dsm's. This is what I've got.

subs; 2 jl audio 12w3's
sub amps; 2 alpine MRD-300's
head unit; Eclipse CD8443
front comps; MTX 6.5 in 8000's
rear fill; Crossfire sx 6x9's
comp amp; Orion cobalt 150.2
wiring; stinger

I'd like to know what everyone else here is running. I would include pics, but I dont have a digital camera yet.

Two solo-baric 15's
Crossfire vr2000d amp true 2000w @two ohm
odysee pc1700 batteries
2-2guage welding leads for power and ground
Sheilded RCA's

In seriousness....just a nondescript Pioneer deck, and speakers all around. Nothing worth finding out all the numbers for, but it's aftermarket, so I thought I'd mention it.

This stereo is a couple years old, but before Rockford came out with their new line of Subs, the HX2's were 2nd in line at the top of Rockford's Subs. But yeah, I love this setup, it hits surprisingly hard. It almost sounds like two 15s.

Component speakers: CDT CL-62 2005's with tw-19 silk dome tweet.
Amp: SoundStream Van Gogh 400w split to my comps to give 100watts RMS to each channel.
HU: Eclipse 5425
Rear fill: Stock speakers running off the HU.

It sounds F*cking fantastic.

I need a sub though for more complete sound.

oh yeah, for those that don't know cdt's are hands donw the best components out there for the money. I got mine for ~$120 ($350 retail, shop around though!) and the amp for another 120 ($399 retail go ebay!).

For anyone looking for good comps and an amp, I'd look no further than the CDT/SoundStream Van Gogh combo.

as for subs..far too many good products out there for me to say what i like best.

this system is so clear and sounds so good and this is not even the top model of boston stuff. Boston is a really reliable good company

Alpine headunit and pioneer 6X9s i jsut ordered a couple thousand dollars of audio equipment for the shop I work at . So mayber some new Rockford fosgate subs and pioneer KEVLAR 6X9s and maybe a Pioneer Premier Headunit.

My stereo:

Speakers:

• Kicker 2-piece component set - woofer mounted in stock door location, tweeter mounted on the mirror access panel. Dash speakers removed
  
• Kicker 5x7 Coaxials in the rear stock locations (inner fender clearanced to fit the larger magnets)
  
• MTX 12" subs in hatch box (not currently mounted)

Amplifiers:

• Kicker 45x4 driving the components and 5x7s
• Clarion 300W subwoofer amp

Head Unit:

• Mini-ITX PC mounted behind 7" touchscreen, fiberglassed into stock radio location, running WindowsXP and MediaCar

This was my first attempt at fiberglass, and sucked and needs redone... but the system works quite nicely.
